Video Featuring a Whole Bunch of Items!

I don't think I've made a timelapse video of how I make drop appearances and other smaller items yet, so I thought I'd upload a bunch!

The items made in this video are all available to find since the latest patch of the frontline beta, so go catch-- I mean find 'em all :D

  1. Are you sure the Flower Emblem or the fish to the right of the Iceskates is in the current game? Because I've been everywhere in the Temple and Winter, haven't seen either one.

Also, is that room to the right of the main entrance of Season Temple supposed to be enterable? It has a barrier in front of it for me. Nothing will open it.

    1. Oh right, the Flower Emblem and the Eel dish aren't in the game yet, you're correct! Nice catch :D

And nope, that room hasn't been implemented yet! :( Good thing you reminded me, as I probably should get around to actually making it before we can add it to the game, hehe.. ;)

  2. Hi,
Great stuff in general! I've noticed in your videos that you zoom in and out a lot. I can only assume that this is because you want to check your graphics in its true size? There's a better way that'll probably save you tons of time.
Go to the top main menu in Photoshop "Window->Arrange->New 'document name' ". ('Document name' is the name of your image.)
This will give you a second window of the same image and this clone can have whatever zoom level you like. Doing this you'll always be able to see your art in its intended size - while you draw.
    Very handy indeed!

    Cheers.

    1. Ooooohhh, I had no idea about that! You are indeed correct, that is the reason why I zoom in and out. I'll definitely try your strategy out, thanks a lot <3 :D

    1. That's really cool - I've seen it before actually! :D Your story is really awesome, with how the game survived hidden away in a box like that. I hope you'll have a great success with it, after 22 years it's definitely time! :3

  4. Aah, cool! :)
Btw, do you know what program Fred uses for the animations in Secrets of Grindea? I'm curious to know since Photoshop isn't the best tool for that.
(You might like Pyxeledit for doing tiles.)

    Cheers.

    1. He is using Photoshop, actually! He used other programs before, that specialized in animation, but then he had to use Photoshop for other things and ended up getting used to how it works. At least I believe that's how the story goes XD

Pyxeledit sounds cool, I'll check it out!
